Are you in love with it as much as I am? I’ve been sitting on this cover for months, eager to share it with you.

This is a bittersweet morning for me. Out of Bounds is a book that I didn’t think I would publish after the banning a couple years back. I’d come to terms with never publishing another Off Balance book again, but here we are and I’m crying all the tears of joy and frustration and… VICTORY as I type this out.

Man, what a ride life has been.

First and foremost, I want to thank YOU, the reader, who stood by my side and cheered me on the last couple of years while I found my way again. Without your encouragement, I’m not sure this publication would be possible. And I truly mean that. Out of Bounds was an intense labor of love, and by far the hardest book for me to publish. Thank you for giving me time I didn’t know I needed to heal. But most of all, thank you for believing in me, and thank you for not giving up on me. I’m so proud to be where I am and fortunate to give you this book.

August 28 marks the 6 year Anniversary of when Balance first published. Crazy, isn’t it? I intended to publish this baby on August 30 in honor of that, but with the unexpected passing of my father recently, I had to push the date back. I know my dad would tell me to “just do it” and to “get it done, that it will all work out”- he was like that and said those words when we talked about what book I was currently writing. I have no doubt he’s right, but I’m not emotionally ready given what’s happened. My dad is where I get my drive and strength (and hardheadedness) from. I’ve always known this. He had his own concrete business and took on jobs that most iron workers wouldn’t dare touch, from pouring driveways to building high rise condos and skyscrapers. However, my heart is incredibly heavy from losing him that it just doesn’t feel right. The burial is this week so I decided to give myself some more time before its go go go. 

With that being said, Out of Bounds will be available eBook and paperback will be available on all online retailers on release day with a live release. Out of Bounds will not be in audio form.
